Dr. Sunitha Raja completed her undergraduation from Ragas Dental College, Chennai and her postgraduation in Periodontics from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College. She completed her Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas at Houston with a core interest in Epidemiology and Behavioral Sciences. She also went on to complete her International Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine and a Diploma in Sports Medicine.
She is one of the founding faculty members of Indian Dental Education Academy which was envisioned and established by Dr. E. Munirathnam Naidu,MDS, a stalwart and visionary in the field of dentistry. Since its inception, Dr. Sunitha has trained more than 1000 dentists in the field of implantology.
She completed her training in laser dentistry and has conducted several workshops and courses on the same. She was an academician and resigned as Professor and HOD of Department of Periodontology of Priyadarshini Dental College. She has several National and International publications in PubMed indexed journals to her credit.
Dr. Sunitha runs her own private practice in Anna Nagar, Chennai. Her core interests are Treatment planning and site development for Implantology, Bone grafting and sinus lift techniques and laser dentistry.
